Water Rates

January – August City Service Bills show the rates that were passed by City Council March 2013.

With the passing of Measure P, water used after July 4, 2014 will roll-back to 2010 Rates. These rates for water used between July 4 and early August will appear on your September bill. These 2010 water rates will remain in effect until a new rate structure is passed by City Council following a Proposition 218 process (see: Davis Prop 218 Mailer).    More information about 2014 Water rates and Measure P.

City Council will hold a public hearing on September 16, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. to consider adopting a new rate structure for its water service fees. The proposed rate structure has five customer classes (single-family residential, multi-family residential, small and large commercial and irrigation) and is comprised of a base charge and a metered water charge. If City Council adopts the proposed rates, they will go into effect for water used after November 1, 2014.
